Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) can happen anywhere, anytime—to people of all ages. In most cases of SCA heart abnormalities are not detected, there are no warning signs, and unless a normal heart rhythm is restored within minutes, death is the end result.
If CPR is performed immediately and you use an automated external defibrillator (AED) within a few minutes, you can double or triple a person’s chances of survival.
Help promote our sudden cardiac arrest awareness initiative to teach teens the simple steps that can save a life—and create the next generation of “first responders”.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3: Check Pulse, Call 911, Press hard and fast in the middle of the chest
We are really excited to launch our CPR Hero Campaign for schools and communities.
