EKG Youth Heart Screening- Seattle Prep

EKG youth heart screenings are offered to students ages 14-24yrs. in partnership with local high schools. A core team from the University of Washington Center for Sports Cardiology is always on-site using the International Criteria to evaluate the results. The screening includes a medical and family history, 12 lead EKG, and “hands-only” CPR/AED training. Heart sounds physical and a limited echocardiogram may also be offered, as needed.
